Turkey Time!
I love Thanksgiving, because it is a time to spend with the family, and just a time set aside and recognized as a day to give thanks. Of course we should be thankful everyday, but acknowledging a day for it is genius, and just lovely.
I love that Thanksgiving is the perfect excuse to overeat without feeling guilty about it too!
I love decorating, so I'm planning on making some Menu cards for the table settings tomorrow, and some nice plate settings as well.
I might upload some pics once I'm done.
This year we have decided that for our dinner all of our family will dress up, instead of just staying in our comfy clothes all day. Sorry stretchy pants, you won't be making an appearance this year...until it's time for leftovers, about an hour or so after the initial meal!
So I am psyched about Thanksgiving and the weather should be perfect, kind of cold, but not too much. Oh how I love perfect occasion weather!
Well I think I will continue to write more on the Thanksgiving subject tomorrow, once I have a clearer idea on what exactly it is I'm going to do.
I'm making dessert, thanks to MarthaStewart.com I've completely nailed the "Apple Crisp" Recipe, and it is phenomenal if I must say so myself!
